Palm released the normal edition of Treo 650 in the beginning of last year, which is in silver/grey… and it looks so damn cool then. This is the ONE phone I am getting hold of on the day it is out in the market…

Then near end of last year, Palm release a “limited edition” Treo 650, which is now silver/blue… However, if I recall correctly, this model looks the same as either Sprint/Verizon/Singular’s model… nothing new

And now, the latest “black tie” edition of Treo 650 is out… It sure looks damn gorgeous for a black lover like me…

However, if we put this next to the new Treo 700p (pic below), you will realize that it is using the exact colour scheme… hehe…

I guess the “black tie” edition is planned for Treonauts whose’ Treo 650 is having problem (like mine) and cant get hold of a new Treo 700p yet… It sure “looks” like a temporary substitution…

May be Palm should start designing next Treo to be more modular so we can change face plate like we do with normal mobile phones…
